Service

  • The neurologist on-call is the only person that will interface with the hospital regarding direct patient care

  • Detailed, comprehensive and easy-to-understand patient care plans and order sets

  • Assistance with the administration of IV Alteplase (Activase) (dosing, preparation, communication with patient)

  • Neurologists will remain on video until the administration of the bolus and the initiation of the drip

  • Commitment to fostering a cordial, relaxed atmosphere even in the most time-sensitive and high-stress situations

  • Partnership with hospital staff to understand and achieve hospital neurology program performance goals

  • Support of Comprehensive Stroke Centers with staffing and infrastructure solutions

  • Patronus physicians will coordinate with hospital intervention teams based on hospital protocols

Response

  • Industry-leading response times with target averages under three minutes for initial call back, and under five minutes to live video

  • We provide comprehensive ER coverage — by responding to ANY neurological case in the Emergency Department

  • Respond to any inpatient neurological emergency

  • Frequent interaction with the stroke coordinator and/or another point person(s) for data review, response times, process improvement, quality improvement and service feedback
